Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader addresses his supporters in 2008 in California. Nader, 75, is now looking to run in his home state of Connecticut for a seat in the U.S. Senate but his campaign tactics hit a snag when Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn made the surprise announcement Wednesday that he’ll be retiring, leaving the race open to strong Democrat and Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal. A Republican opponent is yet unclear, but among the names is Linda McMahon, former chief executive of World Wrestling Entertainment Inc.
