Nov. 13 At 9:49 p.m., an officer initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Lowell and Jarvis Streets and found the driver to be in possession of three baggies of marijuana.
Nov. 5 A complainant reported between struck in the left eye by an unknown object at the Physical Plant at 11:04 p.m.
October 22: A handgun was allegedly stolen from a vehicle parked at the Convocation Center between 9:45 and 11:30 p.m.
10/15 An arson incident occurred between 4 and 10 p.m. in Phelps Hall. Staff reported paper attached to a residence hall room door was found burned.
10/9 A locked vehicle allegedly was broken into at the Convocation Center between 6:30 and 10:15 p.m.
Eastern Michigan University’s 10-year-old library is starting to show its age. Halle Library has had ongoing climate control issues in the archives that are putting the university’s collections at risk, as well as an ongoing flooding issue that has closed the library’s auditorium.
10/2 A cell phone was reported stolen from an unattended purse at The Commons. A staff member reported she had left her purse unattended in a work area between 11 a.m.
A vehicle owner reported hit-and-run damage to their vehicle in the Mayhew Lot. The damage occurred on two days earlier on Sept. 23 between 8:45 and 10 a.m. Neither police nor the owner knows who caused the damage and there are currently no investigative leads.
