EMU designers show off at campus fashion show

Eastern Michigan University’s Fashion Avenue presented the Illusion 2013 fashion show, which took four months of planning and featured 10 designers, two guest designers and 37 models. The hair stylists for the show, which took place at the McKenny Union Ballroom, were Kevin Pelham and Jason Wilson.

	Students had the chance to have fun while learning.

Eastern Michigan University students launched a Latin dance fundraiser Saturday at Big Bob’s Lakehouse to aid the Salvadoran Humanitarian Aid, Research and Education Foundation.

From now until March 31, Eastern Michigan University’s I am P.I.N.K. is playing fairy godmother by hosting a second annual prom dress drive, which provides donated dresses to Detroit high school students.

Heart Month kicks off with wellness expo

Eastern Michigan University will kick off the American Heart Association’s National Heart Month with the Go Red Health and Wellness Expo from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the Go Red VIP Luncheon from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the EMU Student Center Ballroom.
