With a pin from Phillip Joseph in the final bout of the Sunday’s duels, the Eastern Michigan University wrestling team pulled off an 18-16 upset of No. 23 Stanford, improving to 5-1 on the season.
With four Eagles having career days and doing it in record-setting style, the Eastern Michigan University women’s basketball team broke its single-game-points-scored record by cruising to a 120-35 non-conference win on Saturday at the Convocation Center.
The Eastern Michigan University wrestling team kicked off its 2013-2014 season Saturday in East Lansing, led by redshirt–senior Phillip Joseph who finished third-place in the 184 lb. weight class.
