	EMU volleyball coach Kim Berrington thought the team’s performance was “solid,” and was pleased with the things they worked on.

EMU volleyball opens season

The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team opened its spring season Saturday by hosting and participating in the EMU Spring Tournament. The matches were scored, however, the wins and losses did not count toward regular season standings.


	Megan Crawshaw, middle blocker, is expected to help the team to victory.

Eagles make changes for spring

The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team finished the season with an 18-15 record and lost in the first round of the Mid-American Conference tournament. While the regular season isn’t set to begin until August, the spring season is getting underway this weekend.



Volleyball says goodbye to three seniors

Four years at the same place with the same people has the inevitable effect of changing one’s life. This is true for the soon to be graduating seniors on the Eastern Michigan University women’s volleyball team.

Eagles lose in straight set to BSU

The Eastern Michigan University women’s volleyball team lost a tough straight set match (23-25, 22-25, 28-30) to the Ball State University Cardinals Nov. 9. The loss brings their record to 17-14 (7-8 Mid-American Conference).

Volleyball team wins final match of season

The Eastern Michigan University women’s volleyball team won their final match of the regular season Nov. 10 at the Convocation Center. The Eagles celebrated Senior Night with a 3-2 win against the University of Toledo Rockets (29-27, 23-25, 17-25, 25-21, 15-11).

Volleyball defeats Kent State

The Eastern Michigan University women’s volleyball team shone against the Kent State University Golden Flashes at the Convocation Center Nov 3. This was the Eagles’ first time playing against KSU this season, but that didn’t stop them from taking three consecutive sets from the Flashes (25-14, 25-18, 25-14).


Iaquaniello leads volleyball to CMU victory

The Eastern Michigan University women’s volleyball team won an important match against Central Michigan University Nov. 1 in straight sets (25-19, 27-25, 25-19). The victory brought the Eagles’ record to 16-13 (6-7 Mid-American Conference West), while the Chippewas saw their record fall to 12-12 (6-7 MAC) with their sixth loss in a row.

Volleyball needs win to secure playoff spot

With four matches remaining in the regular season, the Eastern Michigan University women’s volleyball team knows they need to win now in order to earn the final playoff spot in the Mid-American Conference West Division.

Kaitlyn Vincek, number two for the Eastern Michigan University women’s volleyball team, decided to play volleyball after talking to the mother of a friend who ended up persuading her to try out. “She ended up being my first coach and I played with her daughter up until college.

Volleyball team nabs playoff spot in game against Bulls

On a day where Eastern Michigan University was celebrating the football team’s first victory of the year and the women’s soccer team earning their first playoff appearance in two years, the EMU women’s volleyball team followed with a win of their own, a four-set (25-15, 25-22, 24-26, 25-23) victory over the Buffalo University Bulls.
