Opinion: Ann Arbor City Council finally moves on affordable housing

The Ann Arbor City Council finally made progress on affordable housing by approving two affordable housing developments in downtown Ann Arbor Nov. 18, two weeks after amending zoning laws to incentivize affordable housing downtown. These moves are possible signs that elected officials are actually beginning to address Ann Arbor’s affordable housing shortage.

Americans should consider freeing themselves from the political party they associate with, and they should listen to all sides and decide on beliefs and values with an open mind.
