The car involved in the accident was flipped upside down, however the driver is in stable medical condition. Three Michigan Coronavirus specimens tests come back negative, health officials await one result

Three specimens’, two from Washtenaw and one from Macomb, results came back negative for the 2019 Novel Coronavirus. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and the Washtenaw County Health Departments are still waiting on the results of another specimen from Washtenaw County. There are no confirmed cases in Michigan and only five confirmed cases in the U.S.

The idea for the gallery was thought up the Ypsi Gathering Space. The exhibit aimed to demonstrate the vulnerable side and thoughts of people in the community.

Two resolutions passed and BSU delegate approved at EMU Student Government meeting Jan. 21, 2020

Senators elected BSU delegate Kiera Osbourne and passed resolutions 106-11 and 106-15. Resolution 106-11 will create “ad-hoc committee on the issue of disability rights and accomodations.” Resolution 106-15 asks that LAZ parking notify students of being ticketed via email or text-message within 24 hours of a violation. Two resolutions were tabled, 106-13 and 106-14.

Osborne stated in an interview that she hoped to help, primarily black students and those in the BSU with “any problems or concerns that they have on-campus: whether that be faculty, each other, with students, [or] with housing.”
