EMUiNVENT is an invention and creative solutions program designed for students from third to 12th grade in which the students develop their ideas in teams, creating a product or invention that can be applied to a real world problem.

Due to recent concerns about Johnson & Johnson vaccine symptoms in an announcement from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, EMU has postponed the vaccine pop-up clinics that were to provide the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at the Convocation and at McKenny Ballroom pop-up clinics for April 13, 14, and 15. EMU will be able to provide vaccines on April 14 at the Convocation Center pop-up clinic, but it will be the Pfizer vaccine.
ECA student Brianna Davis started a petition on Change.org asking Eastern Michigan University to reconsider not extending the pass/fail option deadline during the Winter 2021 semester. Three EMU Student Government members are also organizing an email campaign asking students to urge the University to reconsider their decision.
