EMU plays hard, comes up short against MSU

·

The Eastern Michigan football team played its best game of the season so far, but still came up short losing 23-7 to the 21st ranked Michigan State Spartans (3-1). The Eagles had a 7-3 lead going into the half, but were unable to score a point after halftime as the team wasn’t able to keep up with the Spartan’s offense. MSU was held to a field goal in the first half as the Eagles’ defense looked prepared for the game after an embarrassing loss to Purdue Sept.
