EMU hosts annual Math Facts Challenge

For the second year in a row Eastern Michigan University hosted a math-off that caters to various charter school students ranging from grades 1st through 8th.

The Tony nominations make for the year of “Hamilton”

The Tony Awards air June 12th. The nominations are dominated by one single show: Hamilton. There are thirteen categories for the nominations, and in trail-blazing fashion Lin-Manuel’s hip-hop-infused masterpiece is nominated for a record breaking 16 awards.

Kayla Boyd was one among the many 2016 spring graduates. Boyd graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, Apparel and Textile Merchandising from Eastern Michigan University. For the past four years, she served as a staff writer at the Eastern Echo.
