WinterFest - Jan. 21

Did you miss out on Eaglefest during the fall semester? WinterFest gives you another chance to meet EMU’s student organizations and clubs at the Student Center Ballroom from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Ypsi Fine Arts Club - Jan. 22

Enjoy viewing glorious artwork or bring up to two pieces of your artwork to present at the Riverside Arts Center from 5 to 8 p.m. This event occurs every two weeks on Wednesdays.

Black History 101 Mobile Museum - Jan. 22-23 

Created by Dr. Khalid el-Hakim, the Black History 101 Museum celebrates 30 years of artifact preservation and educating others on Black history. The Black History 101 Mobile Museum consists of 10,000 original articles from the trans-Atlantic slave trade era to the emergence of hip hop. The Black History Museum will be held at the Student Center in room 204 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, and Thursday, Jan. 23. To learn more visit blackhistorymobilemuseum.com 

Adulting 101: Professionalism and Professional Communication - Jan. 23

Want to learn the proper etiquette when looking for jobs/interships? Check out this LBC-approved Zoom call on Thursday, Jan. 23 with April Calkovsky, a career coach from the University Advising and Career Development Center, for key skills involving professionalism and communication. EMU ChamberFest 2025 Finale Concert - Jan. 24 

Watch the inaugural ChamberFest concert featuring student chamber groups, coordinated by the award-winning Formosa Quartet and EMU’s String Faculty! This concert will be held at the Alexander Music Building on campus from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24. 

Disney animal trivia night for adults (18+) - Jan. 25

Anyone who knows Disney's ins and outs should definitely be down for this Disney-themed trivia game. Tickets are selling for $30. Pre-registration is required at thecreatureconservancy.org. Disney animal trivia night will be held at the Creature Conservancy, 4940 Ann Arbor Saline Rd, on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 7 to 9 p.m. At 7 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to view animals. At 7:30 p.m., the game will begin. Upon arrival, park in the paved lot with the Animal Kingdom Veterinary Hospital and Creature Comforts Bed and Bath.

Ikebana Flower Arranging Demonstration & Talk - Jan. 26

Join associate masters of Ichiyo school, Terre Voegeli and Liz Lawra as they talk about the beauty and history of the Japanese art of flower arranging, Ikebana. This free event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Ann Arbor District Library, 343 S Fifth Ave, Ann Arbor.

Comedy Show: The Blind Pig (21+) - Jan. 27

Relish a free comedy show featuring 15 aspiring stand-up comics at the Blind Pig, 208 S. First in Ann Arbor at 8 p.m. If you wish to perform be sure to message @blindpigcomedy on Instagram.
