Washtenaw Community Mental Health - Washtenaw Community Mental Health is an organization that aims to help anyone who needs help finding mental health resources, and who is struggling to find affordable mental health resources. This resource is, however, only available to Washtenaw County residents. Washtenaw Community Mental Health also has a crisis helpline anyone can call when experiencing a mental health crisis or if someone they know is experiencing it.
TheRide - TheRide is a public transportation service that serves Washtenaw County. It is made up of both regular “TheRide” city buses that are fixed routes and “A-Ride” accessible buses that are on a reservation system and run point to point. TheRide’s main service however is the fixed route system.
Michigan Rehabilitation Services - Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) is a state-run organization that helps those who have any sort of disability find employment. This organization helps with education services as well.
MI Works - MI Works is another organization focused on helping people find employment. MI Works helps everyone, not just those with disabilities, and is solely focused on helping with employment.
People’s Express - People’s Express is a public transportation service focused on connecting people throughout Southeastern Michigan. They have routes servicing not just Washtenaw, but also Livingston, Wayne, and Oakland counties.
Women’s Resource Center of Southeastern Michigan - The Women’s Resource Center of SE Michigan is a center focused on helping women achieve economic and emotional health. This resource center also provides other services.
