On Tuesday, Nov. 5, Eastern Votes hosted a nonpartisan Election Night Watch Party at the Lake House on campus from 7-11 p.m. sponsored by Engage@emu.
At the event students were provided free pizza, wings, snacks and beverages. In addition to the games and coloring activities present to help ease those experiencing an overwhelming amount of stress.
Students who attended the event are eligible to receive Learning Beyond the Classroom category three credit.
Throughout the evening, videographer Roderick Martin spoke one-on-one with EMU students about their expectations of the voting results and their overall thoughts about the 2024 presidential election. Some respondents even shared their feelings on the Election Night Watch Party event itself.
