The Eastern Echo hosted its second annual Student Media Gala on March 28 at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse.
The event brought together Eastern Michigan University students and alumni for a night of mingling and celebration. This event celebrated the achievements of alumni throughout the years, as well as current students making contributions.
Cellar Roots Fine Arts Magazine launched their yearly magazine edition at the gala, with copies now available to be purchased. This year, Cellar Roots is celebrating the release of its 50th volume.
Miles Corley, an Eastern Echo photographer, shared a video he created, which highlighted the impact of the paper on the staff.
