Botany Club Valentines Day - Feb. 6
Paint a pot and pick a plant for another Botany Club member from 5-7 p.m. in the EMU Greenhouse.
Maximizing Your Summer Workshop
The Women’s Resource Center and the University Advising and Career Development Center are partnering for a virtual discussion about the upcoming internship fair. The organization’s will be helping students build marketable resume experience over the summer. The event will take place at 6 p.m. and students can sign up by visiting @emuwomenscenter on Instagram and clicking the link in their bio.
In Retrospect - Feb. 6
Opening day of a visual autobiography by Benjamin Bertrand, will be taking place at the Student Center gallery until Feb. 17. A reception for the showcase will take place on Feb. 7 from 5-8 p.m.
Telfar Raffle - Feb. 7
Meet mental health and community service organization Sistas That Care at the Student Center lobby tables from 3-6 p.m. for a chance to win a Telfar bag.
Vejigante Mask Making Workshop - Feb. 7
EMU’s Latinx Student Association invites all students to join them in making Puerto Rican masks for their upcoming Afro-Latinx night. The mask creation event will take place in Student Center room 310A from 7-9 p.m.
Black Honors Student Organization Sneaker Design Night - Feb. 7
Join BHSO and the Honors college to customize your own pair of sneakers. Bring your own sneakers pre washed and prepared to paint. This event runs from 6- 7:30 p.m in the Honors College reception hall.
2023 Internship Fair - Feb. 8
The UACDC is hosting a job fair in the Student Center ballroom from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Students are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume and wear professional attire. The event is for all fields of study to meet with employers offering paid and unpaid internships.
Comets and Discovery - Feb. 8
Follow comet hunters in first person in the EMU planetarium, located on the fourth floor of the Mark Jefferson Science Complex. This event runs from 6 - 7 p.m.
Sex in the Dark - Feb. 9
The Women’s Resource Center is hosting a panel discussion for students to ask sexual health questions from 6-8 p.m. in the Student Center ballroom. Learn more on our feature story of the event below.
Project Big Sister Bake Sale - Feb 9-10
Project Big Sister brings forward their second annual bake sale fundraiser, happening Thursday and Friday from 12-4 p.m. at a Student Center lobby table.
