Grateful pumpkins - Nov. 21

This event will have resources and snacks as well as set time aside for crafting and journaling. It will provide information on gratitude, how to cope with unsupportive families over the holidays and various community resources.

Grateful pumpkins will run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Student Center.

Gobble Wobble Dance Party - Nov. 23

Enjoy drinks and dancing during this dance party at Ziggy’s from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. the night before Thanksgiving. There is a cover charge of $10.

Thanksgiving Recess - Nov. 23-27

Enjoy time off from classes with a holiday break Wednesday through Sunday this week.

Depot Town tree lighting - Nov. 27

This celebration kicks off with a holiday market from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse.

As the sun sets, attendees will join members of Ypsilanti Community High School Choir, Santa and Mrs Claus, one live reindeer, Depot Town merchants, and community members to light the tree in Depot Town.

After the tree lighting, go to the Freighthouse for complimentary cider, hot chocolate, cookies, and more.

#GIVINGTRUEDAY - Nov. 29

Celebrate #GIVINGTRUEDAY by creating friendship bracelets with a chance to win prizes. This will take place at the Student Center tables from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is one part of the larger giving trueday fundraising event.

Krampusmrkt Handmade Holiday Bazaar - Dec. 3

Join Holy Bones for the 2nd annual Krampusmrkt Handmade Holiday Bazaar. Shop a festive collection of vendors selling Krampus, creepy, and holiday-themed goods and art. This event runs from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse.
