The Integrated Marketing program in the College of Business at Eastern Michigan University has been recognized as a top online graduate program as ranked by U.S News and World Report, as well as the programs within the College of Education.

Of the hundreds of schools included in the rankings, the IMC program was listed 60th in the nation and second in Michigan.
In enrolling in the online graduate IMC program at Eastern Michigan University, the student is able to engage in flexible course schedules, and collaborate with professional peers from across the country while learning the most effective marketing techniques in the business world.
The faculty strive to create an extremely collaborative, integrative, and interactive program. The College of Business has stayed proactive in keeping up with the ever-changing field of digital marketing.
“We’re noted for our expertise at Eastern in some of the more state-of-the-art forms of marketing communications,” Dr. Kenneth Lord, Dean of the College of Business, said. “We really have among our faculty—full time and lecturers—a dynamic group of people who bring the most incredible skill and talent, state of the art college, and who also bring an amazing network of professions from throughout our region to continue the student education experience.”
This is not the first time the College of Business has been ranked among the nation’s best by U.S News and World Report.
“We moved up six notches of where we were last year. We are of course among the best in Michigan and the ranking is for not only IMC programs but is for all non-MBA online graduate business programs. So to be among the top 100 in the nation across that broad category of online business programs is pretty exciting, and it’s nice to see our upward movement in the rankings. We’re not only among the best but we’re getting better every year,” Lord said.
The faculty at the College of Business strives to continuously improve their program and are extremely proud of their work thus far and of the IMC’s program ranking as part of the top online graduate programs in the nation.

College of Education programs at EMU
Eastern Michigan University’s programs in the College of Education had also been recognized by U.S News and World Report, ranking 144 in best online graduate programs. The list included hundreds of schools, EMU is one of five Michigan schools amongst the rankings.
The College of Education faculty aspires to create their online graduate programs to be as flexible and accessible as possible for their students, each program offered in seven and a half week semesters.
“It allows a person to take the courses in whatever fits their schedule and they can finish up the programs really quickly,” Dr. Sayler, Dean of College of Education, said. “It really fits their schedule and not the academic university schedule, this is much more flexible for them. We offer courses in all three of those master’s programs in the fall, winter, and in the summer. So a person can move along as fast or as slow as they want.”
According to Dr. Sayler, the graduate programs in the College of Education at EMU are some of the fastest-growing programs in the state, as enrollment has been greatly increasing, with 100% of the teacher education curriculum program online, as well as the early childhood program and educational psychology. Additionally, their counseling programs have had a number of aspects move to an online format.
The faculty of the College of Education continues to strive for student success with high-quality programs, and award-winning faculty in each of their programs.
