Campus-Area Crime Map: Jan. 13 through Jan. 23

The campus–area crime map is a report of criminal activity that has been reported in the Ypsilanti-area as well as on the campus of Eastern Michigan University.

As of Jan. 23, the latest crime reported in the city of Ypsilanti was on Jan. 19. The following crimes were reported during the week of Jan. 13 through Jan. 19.

Driving without license - Jan. 13 - An individual was found driving without a license (the individual's license was revoked/suspended for other reason) at East Michigan Avenue and Huron Street at 11:24 p.m. Police confiscated their license plate. This case is closed as of Jan. 14.

Shots fired at house - Jan. 17 - Shots were reported striking a house on the 200 block of N Normal Street at 1:40 p.m. No injuries were reported. This case is open. 

Stolen vehicle investigation - Jan. 18 - A stolen vehicle was reported at Lowell Street at 1:53 p.m. The crime was reported to have occurred on the night of Jan. 17. Eastern Michigan Police assisted the Ypsilanti Police Department with the investigation. This case is now closed as of Jan. 19.

Possession of narcotics - paraphernalia - Jan. 19 - An individual was reported having possession of synthetic narcotics and narcotic equipment - paraphernalia at Ann Street and North Huron River Drive at 4:28 p.m. The driver was arrested. This case is open.

Fleeing/eluding police - Jan. 19 - An individual was found having no vehicle registration, insurance, or license at North Huron River Drive and Leforge Road at 9:53 p.m. The individual resisted arrest and tried fleeing. This case is open.
