Podcast: How EMU freshmen are adapting to life in a pandemic

Two EMU freshmen and two student organization leaders share the social challenges they face and solutions they have found in the midst of a socially distant semester.

The Freshman Class of Fall 2020 is making its way through a unique first semester of college. Two EMU freshmen share how they've found ways to socialize and create their own "college experience," despite having to adapt to a socially distant and largely virtual semester. Two student organization leaders recall their own first semester of college, and describe how their organizations have adapted to the semester. They also share what they believe the university can do to better support students through this time.
