Police Blotter: April 8-14

Monday, April 8

Juveniles were found throwing rocks and breaking car windows in Rynearson Lot at 5:14 p.m. The case remains open.

Several domestic altercations in Pittman Hall led to individuals being cited for damage of property, assault and larceny. The altercations were reported at 6:03 p.m. and the case remains open.

Tuesday, April 9

An individual took items from the Student Center. The second degree theft is believed to have occurred between 11:41 a.m. and 1:02 p.m. but was not reported until 5:01 p.m. The case remains open.

Wednesday, April 10

An individual reported fraudulent use of her credit card at 5:48 p.m. The case remains open.

Thursday, April 11

No crimes reported.

Friday, April 12

Food was stolen from a Pray Harrold refrigerator at 11:20 a.m. The case remains open.

A driver was arrested for operating under the influence after police located narcotics in the vehicle during a stop at Huron River Drive and Leforge Road. The driver was transporting liquor in an open container, as well as heroin, cocaine and related paraphernalia. They were also believed to have been under the influence of cocaine and heroin. The stop occurred at 6:24 p.m. and the case remains open.

Saturday, April 13
A driver was found operating under the influence a third time during a traffic stop at West Forest Avenue and Rice Street. The stop occurred at 2:30 a.m. and the case remains open.

A subject was arrested for operating while intoxicated during a traffic stop at Saint Johns and Lowell Streets. The stop occurred at 11:48 p.m. and the case remains open.

Sunday, April 14

A subject was trespassing on EMU campus by accessing the Eateries at 3:18 p.m. The case closed April 15.
