Police Blotter: April 15-28

Monday, April 15

A subject was cited for trespassing in Pray Harrold at 9:11 a.m. The case closed April 19.

Another subject was cited for trespassing in Pray Harrold at 4:33 p.m. The case closed April 16.

A subject reported damage to her vehicle in Bowman at 5:41 p.m. The damage is believed to have done between 10:40 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. that day. The case closed on April 23.

Tuesday, April 16

A resident of Best Hall reported a broken window on their door at 12:26 a.m. The case closed April 16.

A dining employee made a death threat to supervisor at 9:23 a.m. at the Dining Commons. The case remains open.

A habitual trespasser was cited and removed from a Pray Harrold classroom. The trespassing occurred at 10:37 a.m. and the case closed April 25.

Wednesday, April 17

No crimes reported

Thursday, April 18

A subject trespassing in the Peninsular Park Papermill was arrested on warrants. The arrest occurred at 5:32 p.m. and the case closed later that day.

Friday, April 19

A case of third degree criminal sexual contact was reported at 1:46 a.m. from Wise Hall. The crime occurred between 11:00 p.m. on April 18 and 12:00 a.m. on April 19. The case remains open.

An iPhone was reported stolen from a Pittman Hall room at 1:38 p.m. The theft is believed to have happened on April 17 between 9:00 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. The case remains open.

Saturday, April 20

No crimes reported.

Sunday, April 21

A driver was found with a suspended license during a routine traffic stop at West Cross and North Mansfield Streets at 4:26 p.m. The case closed April 22.

Monday, April 22

A suspect was reported contacting their victim against a court order at 3:03 p.m. The contact is believed to have occurred between April 12 at 5:15 p.m. and April 20 at 9:27 a.m. The case closed April 29.

An individual was arrested for possession of heroin and crack cocaine at Courtland Street and Whittier Road at 8:10 p.m. The case remains open.

Tuesday, April 23

An individual was stopped for driving with a suspended license and no insurance during a routine traffic stop at North Hamilton and Pearl Streets at 1:07 a.m. The case closed later that day.

Wednesday, April 24

An individual reported items stolen from their wallet at 3:53 p.m. The crime is believed to have occurred at Bowen Field House that day between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The case remains open.

An individual reported at 9:29 p.m. that people were following them in a car. The stalking happened at 6:45 p.m. at the Village, Building A. The case closed the next day.

Thursday, April 25

An individual reported their shoes stolen from the Rec-IM at 12:30 p.m. The theft occurred between 7:00 p.m. on April 18 and 11:00 a.m. on April 19. The case closed later that day.

A subject was found driving with a suspended license during a routine traffic stop at West Michigan Avenue and North Hamilton Street. The stop occurred at 4:36 p.m. and the case closed later that day.

A subject illegally entered Pray Harrold at 6:08 p.m. The case remains open.

A laptop was stolen from a vehicle parked on the Jones-Goddard Drive. The theft was reported at 7:14 p.m. and is believed to have been taken between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The case remains open.

 

Friday, April 26

Money was taken from a Pittman Hall room between 10:30 p.m. on April 25 and noon on April 26. The theft was reported on April 26 at 1:14 p.m. and the case closed later that day.

Saturday, April 27

An individual was arrested on an outstanding warrant and admitted to using heroin. The arrest occurred at West Forest Avenue and North Hamilton Street at 12:33 p.m. The case remains open.

A suspect used stolen keys to enter offices in the Warner Gymnasium. The crime was reported at 2:29 p.m. and the forced entry is believed to have happened earlier that morning between 8:27 a.m. and 8:47 a.m. The case remains open.

Sunday, April 28

A driver was found with a suspended license during a routine traffic stop at South Hamilton and Harriet Streets. The stop occurred at 5:56 p.m. and the case closed later that day.
