Police Blotter Feb. 11 – Feb. 17

 Sunday, Feb. 11 

Several individuals got into a physical fight at 1088 Huron River Drive at 3:10 a.m. 

A backpack with a computer inside was reportedly stolen from the student center between 5 p.m., Feb. 8 and 3:30 p.m., Feb. 11.

A student reported unwanted touching during an event at the Convocation Center between 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 10. The crime was reported on Feb. 11 at 8:09 p.m. 

A student attempted to smoke marijuana at Hill Residence Hall at 10:15 p.m. 

Monday, Feb. 12

An individual was reported for driving while their license was suspended during a routine traffic stop at Oakwood Street and Huron River Drive at 1:17 a.m. 

A student reported unauthorized photos posted online at Putnam Residence Hall at 9 a.m. The crime was reported at 9:29 a.m. 

A student reported alleged sexual assault against them at Buell Residence Hall at 7:04 p.m. Police listed it as 3rd degree CSC. 

Tuesday, Feb. 13 

Individual reported physical assault against them at Hoyt Residence Hall between 11:30 p.m., Feb. 12 and 1 a.m., Feb. 13. The crime was reported at 8 p.m., Feb. 13. 

Wednesday, Feb. 14

Racially insensitive writing was found on a bathroom stall door inside King Hall between 12:30 p.m., Feb. 13 and 12:30 p.m., Feb. 14. The crime was reported at 12:31 p.m., Feb. 14. 

A driver failed to stop and identify when driving out of the parking structure at 5:07 p.m. 

Thursday, Feb. 15

Unwanted sexual contact at Walton Residence Hall at 10:17 p.m. was reported by a student at the same time. 

Odor of marijuana was reported coming from a room in Putnam Residence Hall at 10:42 p.m. 

Friday, Feb. 16

An employee reportedly stole food from the Dining Commons on Feb. 2 at 5 p.m. The crime was reported on Feb. 16, 1:01 p.m. 

A report of sexual assault on campus that occurred at 12 p.m., March 1, 2017, came to EMU police at 1200 Oakwood Street on Feb. 16, 2:14 p.m. 

Items were reportedly stolen from the Crossroads Marketplace at 7:36 p.m. The crime was reported at 7:50 p.m. 

Saturday, Feb. 17

A highly intoxicated individual was reported on campus at McKenny Hall at 8:50 a.m. The individual was taken to the hospital for treatment. 

A driver was reported for driving with a suspended license at N. Huron River Drive and Superior Road at 7:50 p.m. The driver was released with a warning due to having a child onboard.
