Police Blotter Dec. 3 - Dec. 9

Sunday, Dec. 3

An individual failed to appear (FTA) when lodged with warrant at 1200 Oakwood Street at 7:45a.m. 

An individual was reported with possession and use of marijuana as well as possession of narcotic equipment at 4:44p.m. at Peninsular Park. 

A student reported unwanted and harassing communications by their ex-girlfriend at 6:02p.m. at 1200 Oakwood Street. 

Staff reported a student refusing to turn down their music in the Eastern Eateries at 8:53p.m. 

Monday, Dec. 4

A student was arrested with outstanding EMU PD bench warrant at 9:35a.m. 

Counterfeit money was passed to cashiers at the Crossroads Marketplace between 8:40a.m. and 6:33p.m, Dec. 3. The crime was reported at 3:59p.m., Dec. 4. 

Multiple individuals were arrested in the Cob Parking Structure at 4:06p.m. for trespassing, use and possession of marijuana, and possession of narcotic equipment. 

Counterfeit money was passed to cashiers in the Student Center between 12:21p.m. and 4:05p.m, Dec. 3. The crime was reported at 6:50p.m, Dec. 4. 

Tuesday, Dec. 5 

An individual was arrested for outstanding warrants with assistance from another agency at 220 Pearl Street at 11:30p.m. The individual was also charged with resisting arrest during the process. 

A student was reported for punching another student at the Olds Robb Student Rec at 12:03p.m. 

An individual failed to appear (FTA) with lodged warrant at 1200 Oakwood Street at 2:32p.m. 

An individual hindered officers and prevented them from completing an arrest at 9396 Macarthur Boulevard at 3:52p.m. 

The owner of a service dog was reported for animal cruelty after being seen abusing their dog at the Student Center at 5:30p.m. 

A driver was issued an appearance citation for driving with a suspended license as well as lacking vehicle insurance and vehicle registration at Washtenaw Avenue and N. Hewitt Road at 9:15p.m. 

Wednesday, Dec. 6

A student was arrested for a felony fraud warrant at Buell Residence Hall at 12:47a.m. 

A student refused to leave the Sellers Residence Hall during a fire alarm between 4:38p.m. and 5:40pm. The crime was reported at 6:05p.m. 

Food was taken from outside a classroom at Sill Hall between 5:50p.m. and 6:45p.m. the crime was reported t 6:50p.m. 

Money was taken from a student’s wallet at Putnam Residence Hall between 6p.m, Dec. 5 and 7:30p.m, Dec. 6. The crime was reported at 8:06p.m, Dec. 6. Money was taken from another student’s wallet at the same location between 6:18p.m, Dec. 5 and 10:00a.m, Dec. 6, being reported at 8:06p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 7

A driver was issued a citation for possessing marijuana and narcotic equipment while their passenger was arrested for outstanding warrants at Oakwood Street and Lyman Street at 6:36p.m. 

A student reported having their phone stolen at the Olds Robb Student Rec between 6p.m. and 8p.m. on Dec. 6. The crime wasn’t reported till 10:38p.m. on Dec. 7. 

Friday, Dec. 8

An underage individual as arrested at Cross Street and Hamilton Street at 2:18a.m. for having an blood alcohol content above .17% and driving with a suspended license. 

An intoxicated student was reported at 3:08a.m. at the Village Building D. 

Construction trailers were stolen from Green Lot between 4p.m, Dec. 7 and 7:30a.m, Dec. 8. The crime was reported at 7:52a.m, Dec. 8. 

Two individuals were reported for having a loud argument at the Student Center at 3:54p.m. 

A staff member was reported as leaving the Bowen parking lot without paying after covering their license plate at 6:03p.m. 

A student resisted an officer at the Olds Robb Student Rec at 7:10p.m. 

Saturday, Dec. 9 

A minor was found consuming alcohol at Phelps Residence Hall at 2:16a.m.
