April continues with campus events

On Tuesday April 11, Bras for a Cause will be collecting new and gently-used bras all day in Marshall cubicle 302D to benefit Free the Girls, an organization that has donated bras to women in Mozambique, El Salvador, and Uganda.

Also Tuesday, EMU Percussion Ensemble Concert will be performing at 7:30 p.m. in Pease Auditorium. The final performance of the year from the studio of John Dorsey.

Campus life will be hosting a Snack & Study from 9 p.m. until 12 a.m, Student Center Ballroom. The night will include massage therapists to help participants unwind, a free breakfast buffet, charging stations, tutors, free giveaways, and more.

On Wednesday, from 7 - 9 p.m. in the Student Center Auditorium, Casey Cornelius will be hosting a conversation titled, “Man Enough: Masculinity and Today's College Men.” Cornelius will address the relationships college men face with society, women, family, other men, and themselves.

"We Are All One" Open Mic Night Fundraiser will be hosted by One Earth Writing from 7-9 p.m. in Quirk Sponberg Theatre, Rm 124. One Earth Writing is a new local nonprofit devoted to building bridges of of understanding through storytelling and writing. The evening will include a raffle, food and more.


EMU Evergreen Spring A Cappella Concert will be hosted on Thursday from 8-10 p.m. in the Quirk Sponberg Theatre.EMU's a cappella group will perform original arrangements of popular artists such as Adele, Kendrick Lamar, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Ellie Goulding and more.
