The Eastern Michigan women's swimming and diving team completed two days of competition at the NCAA Championships Friday until Saturday, March 17-18 in Indianapolis.
On the first day, Sophomore Delaney Duncan placed 29 with a time of 1:00.58 in the 100 Breaststroke, while senior Alexis Mitcheltree placed 38 in the 100 Backstroke. Mitcheltree clocked in with a time of 53.29 to wrap up a top-40 time.
On the final day of prelims, Mitcheltree clocked in a 46 place finish in the 200 backstroke, clocking in at 1:56.61. This was her final collegiate race.
In the 200 Breaststroke, Duncan punch in with 61 place at 2:14.17.
Saturday's competition concluded the season for the Eagles. The ladies finished the 2016-17 campaign with an 8-0 record in duals and a 4-0 in Mid-American Conference bouts.
