On Jan. 4,at 3:37 p.m., DPS received a call regarding a student's vehicle being struck by another inside of the Gary M. Owen College of Business parking structure. This case was closed Jan. 4.
Thursday, Jan. 5
On Jan. 5 at 1:32 a.m., DPS received a call regarding a subject being assaulted inside of Phelps Residence Hall. A subject was arrested in connection with these allegations. The current status of this case is open.
At 12:40 p.m., DPS received a call regarding a student employee causing a disturbance at the cashier’s office inside of Pierce Hall. This case was closed Jan. 6.
At 1:54 p.m., DPS received a call regarding a subject finding and cashing another subject’s money order under fraudulent means. The incident is believed to have occurred Nov. 5, 2016, at 12 p.m. The current status of this case is open.
Friday, Jan. 6
On Jan. 6 at 7:51 p.m., police at the location of Huron River Drive and Lowell Street conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle was in possession of a marijuana grinder device. This case was closed Jan. 6.

On Jan. 7 at 12:01 a.m., DPS received a call regarding minors in possession of alcohol inside of Walton Residence Hall. The current status of this case is open.
Sunday, Jan. 8
On Jan. 8 at 3:42 a.m., DPS received a call regarding a group of subjects smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol inside of Village Building D. The subjects subsequently confessed to the alleged offenses. The current status of this case is open.
