Police Blotter: Jan. 15

Sunday

On Jan. 15 at 7:55 a.m., a vehicle was reported stolen at the location of Medford Drive. The current status of this case is open.

At 1:52 p.m., DPS received a call regarding minors consuming and possessing alcohol inside of Village building D. This case was closed Jan. 15.

Monday

On Jan. 16 at 12:52 a.m., DPS received a call regarding students admitting to smoking marijuana inside of Village building C. This case was closed Jan. 16.

At 1:21 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted at the location of Pearl Street and Washington Street. The driver was pulled over for disobeying a traffic signal. The driver was intoxicated and operating the vehicle with a blood alcohol content of over 0.17. The current status of this case is open.

At 2:31 a.m., DPS received a call regarding minors consuming alcohol inside of Walton Residence Hall. This case was closed Jan. 16.

At 10:25 p.m., police were alerted to students in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia at the location of Rice Street and East Forest Avenue. This case was closed Jan. 17.

Tuesday

On Jan. 17 at 1:09 p.m., DPS received a call regarding a subject’s hangtag stolen from the vehicle. The crime occurred at the location of Oakwood Street between Jan. 16 at 10 p.m. and Jan. 17 at 12:40 p.m. The current status of this case is open.

At 6:46 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted at the location of Ballard Street and Washtenaw Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and issued an appearance citation. This case was closed Jan. 18.

At 11:53 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted at the location of Huron River Drive and Hewitt Road. The driver was cited for possession of narcotics paraphernalia. This case was closed Jan. 18.

Wednesday

On Jan. 18 at 5:24 p.m., DPS received a call regarding a subject’s vehicle struck in the Pease Lot parking area on campus. The incident occurred between Jan. 18 at 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. This case closed Jan. 18.

Thursday

On Jan. 19 at 7:50 a.m., DPS received a call regarding a subject having caused damage to the ventilation duct inside of Wise Residence Hall. This case was closed Jan. 19.

At 11:18 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted at the location of College Place and Washtenaw Avenue. The driver had open intoxicants, was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and cited for providing false information to the responding unit. This case was closed Jan. 19.

Friday

On Jan. 20 at 12:20 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted at the location of Fairview Street and Washtenaw Avenue. The diver of the vehicle was operating under the influence and taken into custody. The current status of this case is open.

At 12:13 a.m., DPS received a call regarding minors admitting to consuming alcohol inside of Wise Residence Hall. The current status of this case is open.

At 6:52 a.m., DPS received a call regarding scratches on the bathroom stalls inside of the Student Center. The current status of this case is open.

At 5:02 p.m., a Campus Security Authority (CSA) report was filed in connection with a stalking incident that occurred at the Student Center between Jan. 1 at 7 a.m. and Jan. 20 at 1:43 p.m. The current status of this case is open.

Saturday

On Jan. 21 at 4:28 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted at the location of Kewanee Street and Washtenaw Avenue. The subject was operating the vehicle on a suspended driver’s license and in possession of narcotics paraphernalia. The current status of this
