The Eastern Michigan men's basketball team fell to the Akron Zips, 70-63. Guard Ty Toney led the way for the Eagles with 17 points.

Both the men's and women's swim teams won in a home contest. The Eagles faced Wayne State and Tiffin and defeated both by a significant margin.
The women's basketball team lost its seventh-straight when they faced the Ohio Bobcats. 68-51. The team continues to look for its first MAC win of the year.
The gymnastics team won its first MAC conference matchup against Central Michigan. With a final score of 195.925 – 194.650, the Eagles will look to continue their run when they face Western Michigan.
