Eastern Michigan’s basketball team will be hosting tryouts for the upcoming season at the Convocation Center on Sept. 21.
Tryouts will be held for students that attempt to walk-on to the team, as well as players to help with practices. If a student is interested in trying out they must attend a meeting on Sept 21, at 3 pm. It will be held at the Convocation Center where the student will be informed on the requirements to play for the team.
The actual tryout will be held the following Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 4:15 p.m. You must attend the meeting to tryout.
To try out for the team a student must have be enrolled at EMU with at least 12 credit hours as well as have a physical on file in the past 6 months. Other requirements include proof of insurance, eligible through the National Collegiate Athletic Association, and sickle sell blood test results.
