Unwind outdoors

The sun is shining, the air is clear and the snow is finally gone. After a long winter, it’s nice to finally be experiencing the effects of spring. Being cooped up in a dorm or apartment due to the weather isn’t very fun. Now that the weather is improving and the season is changing, it’s time to get out and experience it.

Whether you’re on campus or off, there are some relaxing things you can do to take advantage of the spring weather, either alone or with someone else. It’s always a nice idea to go outside and do homework or study. Find a nice bench or picnic table to relax and focus on schoolwork.

Studying outside can be a great setting for a group of friends who just need to get some work done. The natural sounds of the outdoors can also help one focus.

If you need a break from doing homework, simply sitting outside with some headphones in can be a great way to relieve some stress and enjoy the weather.

If you want to be with someone else, there are a few things they can do to enjoy the weather together. The first may seem a bit cliché, but it’s still a good idea. Having a picnic outdoors is a very cute, yet fun idea. This can be done with friends or a significant other.

Aside from having a full picnic, simply grabbing Starbucks or a snack and sitting outside on the Student Center patio can be very fun and relaxing.

Whatever you decide to do, as long as you are enjoying the outdoors and spending time doing something you want to do, unwinding and relaxing will come much easer as the seasons warm up.
