The Mid-American Conference released the pre-season rankings for men’s basketball this morning with Eastern Michigan University picked to finish fourth in the MAC West division. Eastern Michigan redshirt junior Raven Lee was selected onto the MAC West Division Preseason All-MAC Team as well.
The rankings are decided by a 23-member MAC News Media Panel.
Eastern Michigan is coming off of a 21-win season where they lost in the third round of the MAC Tournament last season to Toledo, 78-67.
Head coach Rob Murphy will be bringing in an arsenal of eight new players this year to join the eight returners.
Eastern Michigan redshirt junior Raven Lee averaged 16.7 points per game last season.
Central Michigan University was picked to finish first in the MAC West division, followed by the University of Toledo, Western Michigan University and then Eastern Michigan. Northern Illinois University and Ball State University rounded out the bottom of the MAC West division.
