Donald Trump is the 'obvious presidential candidate'

Every American should realize that it is their obvious duty to vote for Donald Trump to be the 45th president of the United States. He is clearly an excellent reflection of who Americans are, what we stand for and he is the president this country deserves for as long as we go by the basis of the majority.

First, he is Republican. Based on the majorities of both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, this means that he represents the United States of America, politically, as a whole. This relationship’s strength is confirmed by Trump being the Republican front-runner for the presidential candidacy in 2016.

Trump is also a Caucasian Christian male. According to ABC News’ poll from Gary Langer, this means that Donald Trump represents 83 percent of the United States’ population in regards to religion, 49 percent of the population based on sex and 63 percent of the population’s ethnicity.

It is without a doubt that when the majority is concerned, Donald Trump’s answer to the “hot button” political questions also represents America’s majority. Breitbart’s Charlie Spiering writes that 60 percent of Americans believe abortion is morally wrong, as Trump also stated to Steven Ertelt of Life News in 2011.

Trump is a major supporter of increasing both national security and military spending. He is quoted by Louis Jacobson at Politifact as saying, “Our enemies are getting stronger and stronger... and we as a country are getting weaker.” This statement, of course, in addition to his obnoxious demonstration of building a giant wall and “giant gate” to let people in from Mexico at the first RNC Primary Debate.

This fits in line with the just needed one percent majority according to debate.org’s poll question, “Should military spending be increased?” This also follows the Council of Foreign Relations data chart, showing an almost completely linear spike in military spending from 2000 to 2013, spanning the course of six U.S. Senate and House of Representative elections along with three presidential races. With so many changes in political leadership having an almost linear relationship with an increase of military spending, this means that the candidates Americans want are the ones that are pro-increase of military spending.

Donald Trump represents the simple majority of American in ethnicity, policy and politics, according to the statistics. But, it should be made clear from the points drawn here that a simple majority is not always correct. It was a majority that rooted for Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini during the World War II era, and a majority-elected Prime Minister Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation today. As obviously as Donald Trump represents the majority of America, it should be obvious that he is far from what we need or deserve.
