The tournament allows team members to work together and/or play against each other whilst creating a mutual respect and awareness for the many different backgrounds of the diverse teams. According to the New World Encyclopedia, more than 240 million people play soccer in over two hundred countries.
Soccer players from all around the world whom currently live locally will team up to compete. The teams will bring roots from all around the globe to this tournament and it will host 11-person coed, 40 minute games all day. Games will be taking place on four different fields located on Eastern Michigan University’s campus. Every team will be designated to represent a country.
