EMU men’s cross country wins Titan Invitational

The Eastern Michigan University men’s cross country team took first at the Titan Invitational Saturday Sept. 12 in Northville, Mich.

The Eagles placed six runners in the top 20, including three harriers in the top ten as they finished with a total of 44 points.

Redshirt sophomore Abel Flores was again one of the top runners for the Eagles, finishing second with a time of 20:20.2. Senior Cameron Trinh was right behind him in third place with a time of 20:24.1 and Nick McFarland finished tenth with a time of 21:12.8.

With this great start to the season, Eastern looks to continue their win streak at the Spartan Invitational in East Lansing, Mich. next Friday Sept. 18.
