EMU College of Business students selected Talmer Bank and Trust, SPARK and BlueWater Technologies as the best-run businesses in Michigan.
Students selected the winners along with seven other businesses to honor Friday, April 10, as part of the Michigan Business of the Year awards.
The 10 award winners were:
“We established the Business of the Year Awards to recognize firms that represent the best elements of our market-based economy while remaining socially responsible,” said Michael Tidwell, dean of the EMU College of Business.
Tidwell added that he thought the event was a wonderful way for students to recognize some of Michigan’s best companies.
