The Mid-American Conference announced the men’s and women’s Outdoor Track Athletes of the week of March 31.

Eastern Michigan redshirt sophomore Willy Fink won it on the men’s side and Eastern Michigan freshman Jordann McDermitt won it on the women’s side.

This was the first Track Athlete of the Week award for Fink.

For McDermitt, she placed third in the Raleigh Relays this past weekend with a time of 34:15.99, which ranked her second in Eastern’s all-time record book.

This was her first award of the outdoor season.

For the men’s team, they next travel to Knoxville, Tenn., for the Tennessee Relays on April 10-11.
