Eastern Michigan Women’s golf team finished fourth at the Red Rocks Invitational in Sedona, Arizona. Freshman Thelma Beck led the team and tied for third overall with a two day total of 146. This is the first time Beck has finished in the top 5.
Northern Arizona took first place and the team title in their own tournament. Cal Poly finished second 5 strokes behind Northern Arizona.
Grand Canyon, which finished third overall, had Charlotte Jaengkit receive medalist honor for an even-par 144 which she shared with and Nebraska-Omaha's Sophie Peters.
The Eagles will stay in Arizona for the annual Rio Verde Invitational, March 13-15, at the Rio Verde Country Club.
