JNT Dialogue 2015: After Postructuralism?

The 2015 JNT Dialogue event "After Postructuralism?" features speakers Nancy Armstrong and Jonathan Elmer. Reception and food are following the event in the Carillion Room. The event will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 12, in the Halle Library auditorium. The event is LBC approved.

Lyric Lounge

Lyric Lounge, co-sponsored by the Poetry Society and Campus Life, allows you to explore the most relevant topics of your generation with an open mic of slam poetry. The event will be from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, March 12, in room 300 of the Student Center.

Theatre for the Young Tour: Androcles and the Lion

EMU's Theatre for the Young Touring Program presents Androcles and the Lion by Aurand Harris. Performed in the style of Commedia del'Arte and based on the fable by Aesop. Recommended for ages two and up. Themes of courage, love, friendship and integrity. The event will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 13, in the Sponberg Theater.

Friday Night Movie: Into The Woods

A witch tasks a childless baker and his wife with procuring magical items from classic fairy tales to reverse the curse put on their family tree. The movie will show in the Student Center Ballroom. Showings at 8:00 p.m and 10:30 p.m.

Best Buddies - Under the Sea Ball

Best Buddies, part of EMU VISION, is a nonprofit organization that creates friendships for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event is open to all EMU students. The ball will be from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14, in the Student Center Ballroom A.
