Eastern Michigan University’s men’s golf team placed 8-of-11 Tuesday at the Del Walker Intercollegiate Golf Classic in Long Beach, Cali., Tuesday.
The University of California Irvine won the tournament with a total 838 stroke total, followed by Campbell University (847), Sacramento State (851), Long Beach State (851), Denver University (851), University of Denver (851), Wichita State (857), EMU (858), Fresno State (865), University of California Santa Barbara (874), and CSU-Northridge (888).
Highlights for the Eagles included junior Brett White’s round of 1 over 71 and senior Michael Blair’s three round career-best stroke total of 215.
