The Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team left Mount Pleasant on Saturday without a win or a loss. The Eagles tied the Central Michigan University Chippewas 74-74 in their Mid-American Conference duel.
Tyler Brown, Scott Bradley, Warren Witchell, Solomon Ijah and Donald Scott all placed first for the Eagles.
The day was not a complete wash however, as Anthony Jones continued to break the EMU record book, breaking his EMU record throw by two feet. Jones throw of 21.39 meters/70 feet 2.25-inches is the best in the MAC and eighth in the nation for 2015. Jones was competing at the Elite Throws competition in Findlay, Ohio.
EMU heads back to South Bend, Ind., for the Meyo Invitational on Feb. 6-7.
