As classes wind down for the week, mid-winter break is on the horizon. The Echo asked students: “What are your plans for the break?”
“I haven’t really thought much about it. I know it needs a lot of rest and recuperation. The semester’s been trying. I took some heavy classes, but I think rest and relaxation is the only way to go – sleep.”
Lamar Horton, finance, sophomore
“I intend to help with the upcoming student body elections and try to help with the campaigns of several senators and several candidates for president. I’ve been getting signatures, approaching students and informing them about the upcoming elections and I’m going to continue that over the break, even though no one will be here. So, God knows how I’ll do it. But that’s one thing I intend to keep working on.”
William McDonald, public law and government/political science, senior
“I’m going home, working and doing homework.”
Miranda Jordan, social work, sophomore
“To tell you the truth, I don’t think I really have plans, just kind of relaxing and doing work stuff.”
Greg Klein, athletic training, sophomore
“As far as spring break, I plan on going home, catching up on some homework and sleeping.”
Jhane Coleman, exercise science, junior
“Well, my birthday is that weekend, so I’m going to go to a concert and spend time with my family because I haven’t been home in a while.”
Kaitin Schutz, biology, freshman
