The Ypsilanti Police Department is investigating a report of an armed robbery which occurred at 2 a.m. Friday in the Peninsular Place apartment complex.
The victim is a pizza delivery driver and is not a student at Eastern Michigan University. The victim told police he or she was approached by two suspects, one of whom was carrying a black handgun. The suspects told the victim to hand over all of his or her money.
The victim described one of the suspects as a dark-skinned, thin black male last seen wearing a black hoodie, black gloves, a bandanna over his face and carrying a black handgun. The second suspect was described as a light-skinned, thin black male, last seen wearing a gray hoodie, dark pants, black gloves and a bandanna over his face.
Following the incident, the suspects fled north on LeForge Road on foot. The Ypsilanti Police Department and EMU's police department searched the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them.
Later Friday evening, police located and arrested two subjects in connection with the robbery.
