Playing a stifling zone defense, Eastern Michigan Basketball upset the University of Michigan at the Crisler Center Tuesday night, winning 45-42.
EMU coach Rob Murphy said it was not only a huge win for EMU basketball, but also for the entire athletic department.
The Wolverines had no answer for Eastern's swarming defense, which invaded Michigan passing lanes and contested every shot U of M tried to put up.
