Eastern Michigan University's Jazz and Percussion present a showcase

Eastern Michigan University’s Jazz and Percussion Ensembles will showcase their best musicians with solo acts that are sure to impress the audience.

The show will shy away from the typical rock or rap concerts that most students like to attend. This concert will change and broaden musical perspectives. The Percussion Ensemble will play music based on individual musicians’ talents, while the Jazz

Ensemble’s will feature a theme for the night, music from jazz musician John Clayton.

Donald Babcock, Professor of Music, promises fantastic music to students who come out to the LBC approved event.

The Jazz and Percussion Ensembles will be performing on Monday, Nov. 24, at 7:30 p.m. in Pease Auditorium. Support fellow EMU students by coming out to the free show and enjoying a night full of music.

For more information, contact Professor Babcock by phone at 734.487.6842, or by email at donald.babcock@emich.edu.
