Police blotter Oct. 7

Thursday, Oct. 2

A female student reported that she had money taken from her room in Hill Hall at 6:32 a.m. The crime was believed to have occurred between Sept. 28 at 6:20 a.m. and Oct. 2 at 6:30 a.m. The victim stated that her hallway door was locked, but her bathroom door was not. The crime is still under investigation and there are no suspects at this time.

A male student’s hangtag was reportedly taken from his vehicle in North Parking Lot at 12:41 p.m. The crime was believed to have occurred between Sept. 29 at 6:45 a.m. and Sept. 30 at 4:41 p.m. The window was rolled down in the victim’s vehicle. The crime is under investigation and there are no suspects at this time.

A male student’s hangtag was reported stolen from his vehicle in Mayhew Parking lot at 12:46 p.m. The crime was believed to have occurred between Sept. 28 at 5:30 p.m. and Oct. 2 at 8:15 a.m. The crime is currently under investigation and there are no suspects at this time.

A male student reported his bicycle stolen from the College of Business Parking structure at 9:39 p.m. The crime allegedly occurred between 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. There is video surveillance and the crime is under investigation.

Friday, Oct. 3

Police received a report that eight students were drinking in Wise Hall at 12:23 a.m. Three males and five females were reported by housing staff. All underage minors were given citations for minors in possession. They may also face discipline under the Student Code of Conduct and Community Standards.

A male student was reported intoxicated by night watch personnel in Downing Hall at 12:37 a.m. The student was not charged but may face discipline under the Student Code of Conduct and Community Standards.

Police were called to the Student Center Parking lot at 2:21 a.m. after two students got into an argument that ended with one student, a female, slapping the other student, a male. The female was arrested for domestic violence and was taken to Washtenaw County Jail. She may face discipline under the Student Code of Conduct and Community Standards.

Two suspects on Cross Street and Hamilton Street are being sought for obstructing and resisting arrest. A male and female provided false information to patrolling officers and fled from the scene on foot. The crime is being forwarded to the county prosecutor.

A LCD projector was reported stolen from the Eagle Crest golf course at 3:50 p.m. The crime was believed to have occurred between Oct. 1 at 9 p.m. and Oct. 3 at 7 a.m. There are no suspects at this time and the crime is currently under investigation.
