The Art Masters Association Studio Walk

Art department buildings on campus will host an Art Masters Association Studio walk to show off a behind the scenes glimpse of artists at work and the process it takes to complete such art on Oct. 30. The walk will be taking place in multiple buildings on campus between the hours of 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For questions, comments, and specific locations, contact Greg Tom at gtom@emich.edu. This is a Learning Beyond the Classroom credit.

Writers and Performers gather for Storytellers Lounge

Eight to 10 people will have the opportunity to share a real-life story with audiences at the Student Center Oct. 30. The set up, which was inspired by Moth StorySLAM will feature writers, performers, and artists, along with faculty, staff, and EMU students who are either participating or viewing the event taking place in the Student Center in room 300, starting at 9 p.m.

Friday Night Movie: The Purge – Anarchy

Keeping with the Halloween theme, the Student Center will hold two showings of the movie The Purge: Anarchy. The film is an American action horror film from 2014. The storyline has intertwining characters who are left stranded when Purge Night comes around, and focuses on a young couple who needs to survive on the streets when The Purge begins. There will be two showings of the movie to get your spooky fill at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. in the auditorium Halloween Night, October 30.

EMU VS. CMU Football at The Factory

The Eagles face CMU at Rynearson Saturday for in-state rivalry game. Students enter free and there will be tailgating events to combat their Chippewa rivals. The game will begin at 1 p.m. Outside entry tickets are $12.
