The Mid-American Conference named senior forward Angela Vultaggio as its Offensive Player of the Week Monday afternoon.
Vultaggio scored three goals, including two Sunday afternoon against Indiana University, in the team’s first two games.
Junior goalkeeper Megan McCabe had two shutouts this week and was a nominee for Defensive Player of the Week honors, but the award ultimately went to Laura Dougall from the University at Buffalo.
The Eagles play Friday at Michigan State University. The game is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. in East Lansing, Mich.
