The Eastern Michigan University women’s basketball team is losing one of its players – guard Haley Moore tweeted Monday night that she is transferring to Wayne State College in Nebraska.
The EMU athletic department confirmed Monday that Moore was no longer a member of the team.
“sad to say i won’t be attending eastern next year, but so excited to start a new journey at wayne state!! #gowildcats,” Moore tweeted.
Moore played in 31 games for the Eagles this past season as a freshman, starting three. She averaged 2.7 points in 12.9 minutes a contest off the bench.
