The Ypsilanti Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 9:50 p.m. Friday on the 800 block of Green Road near LeForge Road. The victim is not an Eastern Michigan University student, and no injuries were reported.
The victim told police he was approached by two suspects wearing dark hooded sweatshirts on foot while he was delivering a pizza Friday night. He said the suspects held him at gunpoint and demanded he give them “everything.”
After the victim surrendered his money to the suspects, they fled toward Peninsular Park.
The victim could not provide a specific description of the suspects. He only remembered that they were wearing dark clothing and dark hooded sweatshirts.
