Men's basketball team visits C.S. Mott Children's Hospital

The Eastern Michigan University men’s basketball team and staff visited with children at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital on Jan. 15. This was the day after the Eagles defeated Western Michigan University 56-37 at home.

During this visit, the EMU basketball team spent time socializing with the children and their parents. They posed for photographs, signed autographs, and handed out EMU gift bags. Eagles’ Head Coach Rob Murphy also mingled with the team and got to know some of the youngsters and their families.

This special visit was coordinated by EMU Director of Player Development and Video Coordinator, Jerome Robinson, and Mott Hospital Community Relations Specialist, Byron Meyer.

It was the Eagles’ second visit in as many months to the hospital. Previously the Green and White had visited the children on Dec. 27 and in keeping with the holiday spirit they handed out posters, coloring books, key chains, and signed autographs.
